GP Workshops:

Neurodiversity in Adults

Dr Bianca Calabria was invited to present (in-person) for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), in August 2023, May 2024, and August 2024.

This presentation focused on neurodiversity in adults and shared current peer-reviewed evidence on Autism and ADHD with general practitioner (GP) registrars. Pathways to diagnosis were also presented.

Practitioner Course:

Understanding Autism and Autistic Burnout: The 5-S Framework of Autism.

Online live presentation, by Dr Bianca Calabria, 3 and 17 August 2024, 10:00 am to 2:30 pm AEST (3.5 hours of content, 30 minutes of questions, 30 minutes break). **videos of presentations will be available after each session for six-months.

This training course is for practitioners (e.g., psychologists, GPs, OTs, psychiatrists, etc.) who would like to understand the DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria for Autism in the context of current research, and to identify and differentiate Autistic burnout. The 5-S Framework of Autism will be presented. This course is Stage 1, and Stage 2 will focus on working therapeutically with Autistic burnout.
